Airports & Ground Transport

We recommend JFK and LGA (Laguardia) as the easiest airports to get to and from Manhattan. Options to travel from JFK to LGA are:

Taxi’s : Cost $45+tip (to Manhattan), it should go onto the meter if you are staying in Brooklyn (approx $35-$45 traffic dependent)

Train : Cost $7.50 ($5 airtrain & $2.50 basic subway single) This takes approx 1/1.5 hours, but is not hard.

Bus/Shuttle : Are also low cost options, but often stop at multiple locations and can be time consuming (approx 2 hours)

NWK (Newark)

If your flight is into Newark there are public transport options including NJ transit trains, the path train, etc into Manhatten. For ease we recommend you contact us to arrange a car service pick up at the airport when you arrive that can take you to your destination.
